Meet Dr. Miroslav Stanic, a Dentist Who Loves Helping His Patients

As a youngster growing up in Bosnia (formerly Yugoslavia), Dr. Miroslav Stanic dreamed about becoming a dentist but never thought he would be one. When he came to the United States, he became the first person in his family to further his education after high school. Then he fulfilled his dream when he achieved his dental degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1989. Since then, he has extended his training in Invisalign^® teeth aligners, periodontics, dentures, and relieving pain due to jaw joint dysfunction and misalignment.

Dr. Miroslav loves helping people. His drive to be a dentist came from his need to help others. After graduation, he spent a year volunteering his dentistry skills in Trinidad and Tobago. Across the years and into his engagement with patients and our community today, Dr. Miroslav infuses his care with this fundamental human belief.

Dr. Miroslav opened the doors to Sequoia Dental Office almost 30 years ago. Every day since then, there’s been no debate – his favorite part of being a dentist in Visalia is being with people, his team and his patients, who have become like family.

Dr. Miroslav and his wife, Katarina, are active in our community through church and the local schools.
